Franklin Depot VaDear Father I take my pen in hand to rite you a few lines to let you know that I am well and I hope these few lines may find you all enjoying the same good blessings. I havent mutch to rite at this time but as I had a good chance I thot I would rite a few lines. I want you to send me a good woolen pare of pants and a good piece of hard soap and some thread and a couple of needles. You can send them in my box when you send my provisions to them selves like you done before. times is quiet at this time so I will close as the male is just about to start so nothing more only rite soon.
